OLEJEME LOSES FATHER *** Uduaghan Mourns Passage of Olejeme’s father, Pa Diunor

Pa Phillip Diunor was aged 84years. He died at St Luke’s Hospital, Asaba on Monday, January 12, 2015.
A statement issued in Asaba by the Director of Communication of Ngozi Juliet Olejeme Foundation, Mr. Henry Ebireri described Diuno as a great personality.
“Words cannot convey what he meant to our founder. He was a great man, a loving father and lover of his people ‘, the statement maintained.
The late Diunor served his community to the best of his ability.
“He lived a life of sacrifice. He built a bridge of hope and unity among his people. He will be remembered for elevating the profile of his community” the statement said.
“The burial arrangements will be announced later by the family” the statement added.
Meanwhile, Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has expressed sadness over the passage of Pa Phillip Diunor.
Pa Phillip Diunor, 84, father of the Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, died in Asaba on Monday.
Uduaghan, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Sunny Ogefere described the death of the octogenarian as a great loss not only to the Asaba Community but the entire state.
“Pa Phillip Diunor’s life of selfless service to his people and the larger Asaba Community is a legacy that most of us in leadership position need to imbibe,” he said.
Dr. Uduaghan while commiserating with the family on the death of their patriarch urged them to take solace in the enduring legacies and fulfilled life he lived.
Besides, he noted that Pa Diunor was a disciplined and resourceful man who was able to bring up his children including Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, that have excelled in their chosen careers.
“Our hearts are with the family on this their moment of grief”, the Governor stated and prayed God Almighty to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
