NWOBI1In continuation of his campaign tour of the various communities in Aniocha North Local Government area, the PDP candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Aniocha North Constituency in the forth coming election, Engr Emeka Nwaobi has visited more communities in his bid to let the people know his plan of action when elected as their representative.
Engr Nwaobi and his campaign train were at Idumuje-Ugboko, Idumuje-Unor, Nkwu-Nzu, Ugbodu and Onicha-Uku where they paid courtesy calls on the various traditional rulers in the respective communities.
At the various palace visited, Engr Nwaobi was commended for his generosity in respect of his developmental strides recorded across the various communities despite the fact that he is not in government yet, while prayers were offered for his success at the polls by the various traditional Rulers.
At Idumuje-Ugboko, Hon. Ifeanyi Osuoza led a large crowd of the people to receive Engr Emeka Nwaobi and his team on behalf of Prince Ned Nwoko who was unavoidably absent, while the People of Idumuje-Unor also came out in their large numbers with the likes of Hon SPC Aniamaka, Chief Henry Baadi and other notable leaders to give the team an unprecedented welcome.
Also at Nkwu-Nzu, Ugbodu and Onicha-Uku it was another show of love and preference for Engr Emeka Nwaobi with multitude of the people coming out with their leaders like Chief Emma Eboh, Sir Dan Okenyi, Chief Emmauel Okoh, Hon. Henry Nwabuakwu, Mrs Udeh and Mr. Peter Elumelu as well as Mr Kennedy Okoh to accord the PDP House of Assembly hopeful a rousing reception.
In their speeches at the different communities, the various leaders who spoke on behalf of their people agreed that Engr Emeka Nwaobi has the capacity needed to give the People of Aniocha North a good representation at the Delta State House of Assembly, while pledging the resolve of their people to vote en-mass for Engr Emeka Nwaobi and other PDP candidates at the coming elections.
Addressing the People at the various communities visited, The PDP Flag bearer commended the Traditional Rulers, Political Leaders as well as the People for the warm reception, stating that it was a clear demonstration of love and acceptance.
He said that his determination in the direction of going to the State House of Assembly was born out of his love for service, geared towards ensuring even development for the entire people of the area, while noting that with the coming of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor of the state the people of the area are set to benefit immensely.
He further appealed to them to vote PDP at all levels in the coming elections and revealed that the PDP do not have any accord with any party for the purpose of the forth coming elections.
He enumerated all that he did across Aniocha North Local Government area to improve the standard of living of the people in every sector in his personal capacity to include opening up of link roads, massive rehabilitation of dilapidated and abandoned links roads, construction of blocks of classrooms in the various primary and secondary schools within the area, provision of security vehicle and annual security impress, assistance in the health sector and institution of a scholarship scheme for indigent students in the area among others.
Engr Nwaobi assured that if given the mandate by the people of Aniocha North he will do much more than what he did with his personal funds, stressing that one of his major pre-occupation as their representative will be on massive empowerment of the teaming youths of the area.
He called on them to desist from electoral violence, noting that violence does no one any good, while stating that the only acceptable weapon of war in the forth coming election is their Permanent Voters cards PVC, which he said is needed to vote PDP all the way in all the elections.
Engr Nwaobi therefore called on all registered voters in the area who have not collected their PVC to avail themselves the opportunity of the election date extension to collect theirs without further delay.
