NWA1Member Representing Aniocha North Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Engr.) Emeka Nwaobi has described the Supreme Court Victory of the Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa as a Victory for democracy.

Hon. Nwaobi, who made this disclosure in a press Statement on the Supreme Court Judgment, issued to Newsmen in Asaba, noted that the Judgment was a clear and final confirmation of the mandate given to the Governor by the people of Delta State, adding that it was not only a victory for Democracy but a triumph for the rule of Law

The Honourable member said that the people of Aniocha North received the news with great joy which was predicated on the fact that their labour for the victory of the Governor in the April 11th, 2014 Governorship Election was not in vain and while pledging that the People of His Constituency will continue to work and support the Governor towards achieving his SMART Agenda, affirmed that Governor Okowa was now poised to pursue the agenda of ensuring prosperity for all Deltans with great vigour and confidence, irrespective of tribe or district.

Hon. Nwaobi then expressed his gratitude to God for the Victory and called on Chief Great Ogboru and Chief Otega to join hands with other well meaning people of the State, to assist Governor Okowa in the task of moving the State to another level of Glory, stressing that the Governor, is a man who has great love for the state, hence the need for all hands to be on deck to bring about the mush desired prosperity for all Deltans as the administration unfolds.
