Ochor, who reacted to the Supreme Court judgment in a statement made available to the media, reminded Deltans that the election victory by Governor Okowa is not a victory by man, but was that of God, as in all the stages of the electoral cases, God continued to prove to all Deltans, especially the opposition that Okowa is his chosen candidate for the Governorship position, and he had shown it with this verdict as a full proof of his love, as he puts it.

“It is a proof of God’s love for Deltans, and an evidence of Dr. Okowa’s genuine desire to govern the state”, he said, adding that with this victory, every man-made obstacle that will disturb the plans of the governor in carrying out his developmental agenda has been removed and the success of his SMART agenda and Prosperity for All Deltans can now be assured.

“Let all Deltans come out and Thank God for the victory”, he urged.

Hon Ochor further called on the political opposition in the state to join the governor and the PDP in the development of the state, as the state belongs to all, irrespective of the different party interests.

“Delta state belongs to us all. The election was a contest. And a winner must emerge, the legal cases had been settled, and we as Deltans must move ahead, and in moving ahead we must be united with one purpose irrespective of our party”. He concluded.
