As a mark of respect to the Oligbo Royal Institution and being accountable to the people, the Honourable Member representing Aniocha North Constituency, in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, paid a courtesy visit to the Crown Prince of Oligbo Kingdom, HRM Engr. Nduka Ezeagwuna, to brief him on the projects he had been able to attract to Issele-Uku and the Council Area within a short time in office, as well felicitate with His Royalty on the successful marriage between him and the Queen, Mrs. Dumebi Rosemary Ezeagwuna.
Hon Nwaobi, a bonafide son of Oligbo Kingdom, who arrived the Palace immediately after inspecting the MDGs projects in Issele-Uku, headquarters of the Local Government Area, accompanied by Hon. Anthony Elekeokwuri, member representing Ika North-East Constituency, first congratulated the royal couple on their highly successful and celebrated royal marriage, wishing them conjugal blessings that will eternally keep them in love and bliss and also used the opportunity moved to inform the Crown Prince that he been away on an official assignment abroad which explained his unavoidable absence from the community for a while.
The Game Changing DTHA Member however, briefed the First Class Crown Prince on the two ongoing MDGs projects in Issele-Uku – Borehole drilling and building of Staff Quarters for Health Personnel of the Primary Health-Care Centre.
In his own comments, the Member representing Ika North-East Constituency, Hon Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri, who delivered the congratulatory message of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Monday Owhigo Igbuya to the royal couple on behalf of the DTHA, assured him of the House’s readiness to participate in the forthcoming coronation and presentation of staff of office to the monarch in place.
Responding, the Royal Majesty appreciated the visit to the Oligbo Royal Palace by the lawmakers and while assuring them of his maximum cooperation towards any project that will drive economic growth and development in Issele-Uku community and by extension the Aniocha North LGA, prayed and blessed the legislators, asking God to grant them the knowledge to perform their duties to the acceptance of the people and to the development of Delta State.
The Royal Majesty, who specially blessed Hon. Nwaobi, his subject, asking God to protect him from every evil in his efforts to emancipate his Constituency from economic underdevelopment, affirmed that he is proud of the lawmaker and has noted his passion about giving adequate and effective representations to his people, adding that other well-meaning politicians and individuals should emulate such zeal and service character.
Also on the entourage of Hon. Nwaobi for the courtesy visit were Hon. Angela Nwaka of Aniocha South Constituency, Mr. Ubaka Odoe, Prince Victor Egbune (PDP Chairman for Aniocha North LGA), Nwaobi’s Legislative Aides and others.
